Lipolab is a fat dissolving injectable used to treat localised pockets of fat beneath the surface of the skin. It can be used in areas of the back, stomach, hips, thighs, knees, chin and breast area. Fat treated is unlikely to return, it will be permanently gone as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle and do not gain weight.
Fat dissolving is not a substitute for healthy eating and exercise, it is used to treat stubborn pockets of fat only and will not be used for large surface body contouring.
This treatment works by attaching to fat cells and breaking them down over time. The fat is dissolved and flushed out through the lymphatic system, usually you will see results anywhere from 2-6 weeks.
We recommend 2-4 treatments, 4 weeks apart for smaller body areas such as the chin. For larger body areas such as the stomach we recommend 4-6 treatments, 4 weeks apart. Alternate brands of fat dissolving such as Aqualyx are available upon request.
